One unit of phytase activity (FTU) is defined as the quantity of enzyme which liberates 1 micromol of inorganic phosphorus per minute. Environmental factors such as feed pH, moisture, and processing methods such as pelleting or extrusion, may affect enzyme activity.1 One Solid State Fermentation Phytase unit (SPU) is defined as the amount of enzyme that will liberate 1 mmol of inorganic phosphate per minute under the conditions of the assay.2

WARNING: Withdraw medicated feed 2 days before slaughter. This product, which contains added copper, should not be fed to sheep or related species that have a low tolerance to copper.
This product has been formulated specifically for swine and is not intended for other species.
Caution: The effects of Tiamulin on swine reproductive performance, pregnancy, and lactation have not been determined. Use as the only source of Tiamulin. Swine being treated with Tiamulin should not have access to feeds containing polyether ionophores (e.g., Monensin, Lasalocid, Narasin, Salinomycin and Semduramicin) as adverse reactions may occur. If signs of toxicity occur, discontinue use of medicated feeds.
Caution: Follow label directions. Feeding this feed containing added selenium at levels higher than recommended is not permitted. Chromium from all sources of supplemental chromium cannot exceed 0.2 ppm of the complete feed for swine.
Special Considerations: Protect medicated feeds from excessive temperatures. Do not store at warm temperatures, 104 degrees F for more than 7 days.
FEEDING DIRECTIONS: Palmer Show Pig Fresh Start should be fed as a sole ration for starting pigs. Feed continuously to pigs weighing up to 50lbs with a history of swine dysentery where signs of disease have not yet occurred or following an approved treatment of the disease. Control of porcine proliferative enteropathies (ileitis) associated with Lawsonia intracellularis. Feed continuously as the sole ration for not less than 10 days. Always supply a source of fresh, clean water.
