TUB FEEDING DIRECTIONS:
Consumption of the tub will vary depending upon the condition of the animals, quality, and quantity of forages being fed, weather conditions and most importantly, the feeding location of the tubs,
with respect to loafing, grazing, feeding, and watering areas.
1.Distribute one tub per 20-25 head of cattle or one tub per 25-30 head of sheep and goats.
2.Place the tubs where animals congregate (loafing, grazing, feeding, and watering areas).
3.Feed the tubs continuously along with plentiful sources of forage and clean, fresh water.
4.Cattle will consume 1/2 to 1 pound per head daily based upon a 1,000 animal. Sheep and goats will consume 2-4 oz. Per head per day.
5.If additional mineral and/or vitamin fortification is desired, feed in addition to this tub, a nutritionally balanced mineral/vitamin block and salt.

INTRODUCTION PERIOD: During the first week of use, place the tubs approximately 50-75 feet from loafing and/or watering areas. As livestock become acclimated to the presence of the tubs, repositioning may be necessary to achieve proper consumption. Move tubs closer to increase, further away to decrease consumption. DO NOT PROVIDE STARVED LIVESTOCK FREE ACCESS TO THIS TUB. If over
consumption occurs for more than two weeks and repositioning does not correct the situation, remove tubs and evaluate the overall feeding program.
