VetGun is the easy-to-use, precision-dosage delivery system for controlling horn flies on cattle, now with two insecticide options – two different modes-of-action – for optimum horn fly management.
VetGun projects insecticide-filled capsules – called VetCaps – safely from 15-30 feet away. VetCaps fragment on contact and go to work without the stress of herding or handling cattle.
So easy! One person working alone can treat 100 cattle in just one hour – delivering effective control where and when you need it.

AiM-L VetCap 10 mL capsules contain lambda-cyhalothrin (a pyrethroid), an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-registered insecticide proven effective for control of horn flies, face flies, biting lice and sucking lice on beef cattle weighing over 600 lbs.
AiM-A VetCap 10 mL capsules contain abamectin (a macrocyclic lactone in the avermectin family), an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-registered insecticide for effective treatment of horn flies on beef cattle and non-lactating dairy cattle weighing over 600 lbs.
AIM-L STOPS LICE, TOO.
As cooler winter months approach, lice become an increasingly prevalent parasite. Left unchecked, lice infestations can cause significant damage to both your herd and your property. AiM-L VetCaps can be used to control biting and sucking lice on beef cattle greater than 600lbs. Optimal lice control in winter may require two treatments. The first dose of AiM-L will kill the adult lice and a second dose two weeks later will clean up any nymphs from newly hatched eggs (nits).
